If Bread Was My Friend or Is My Friend. I don't know.

Thanks to BloesemKids for the product link below.

Some of you may know I haven't been feeling good since April. This morning has been pretty rotten. All of it has to do with stomach stuff. Two doctor appointments ago I was crying in the doc's office. You think that would speak volumes. But bringing your angry husband to the next appointment seems to kick things into gear. A friend says that doctors don't listen to women like they listen to men and she has a very upsetting example from her own life. I hope these are only isolated incidents or maybe we ALL need to take a friend or loved one to the doctor with us all the time? I don't know. Mini-rant over.

One thing I've been doing to narrow down the list of whatever is going on with me as I get ready to see a specialist is food exclusion diets. These next two weeks are no dairy. But that means I can eat bread again! And if I had known about this earlier I would have made my first foray back into Glutenland with one of these adorable loaves:

I love the packaging! I love the name. I love the blog. Bless you, Irish bakers, and I hope your Granny gets better.

Jaime: Sorry to hear of your woes. I have several friends with digestive issues (lactose, gluten, etc), so I know how frustrating it can be. Sending positive digestive thoughts your way! Love the cute doodle loaf.

Hey Jaime, I'm sorry you don't feel well. Stomach trouble is no fun at all. I hope you can figure it out and feel better soon.

Sorry to hear about the troubles. My hubby works at a natural grocery store, and he actually helps people find rather yummy organic food (yes it can be done). I hope you have a good store close by that can help you find some yummy things. If you ever want suggestions, let me know the current food elimination and I can ask him.

Also that bread is way too cute!

Thanks ladies. I wasn't trying to be a whiner, but it has been going on since April so I am trying to find ways to work at working when not feeling well. I'm very pro-organic food and thank you, Tara! for the offer. PCC and Whole Foods are my new best friends. That and Coconut Bliss non-dairy no-sugar coconut milk ice creams!

I'm pretty late to this comments, but I am so sorry to hear that you have been feeling so bad. Let me know which doctor it is and I'll be happy to pop in and contribute my vocal chords to your hubby's. My pops has stomach issues and I'm pretty sure me and my brother inherited it. Pain in the butt... Now I've done it.
