Previously on Bound: Author Spying 05/04

We are starting a new feature on the book blog, spying on authors! Their blogs, sheesh.

If you have a favorite children's book author or illustrator, odds are that they have a blog or a website. So if it has been a while since their last book, don't despair! You can probably read about all that they are up to on their blogs.

Today, let's sneak a peek on: Laini Taylor and Lisa Yee. I'm not sure they could be more talented, or, more importantly, adorable.

Here are a few of Lisa's books (and "Absolutely Maybe" and "Bobby vs. Girls (Accidentally)" both out in paperback this month!)

Here are Laini's books, with art by her husband, illustrator Jim di Bartolo.

Snapshot of Laini's blog below. Laini is on her way up to Seattle to speak to a children's book writing class today. Besides this blog she also has Not For Robots, which is a great collection of Laini's essays on her writing process as well as a treasure trove of quotes.
